Mandarin Chinese Courses for Adults and Teenagers

Below is a list of our regular Mandarin Chinese courses designed for adults and teenagers. If you have any specific needs, we are also able to customize a course in order to meet your needs. In such a case, please inform us in writing in advance.

Conversational Chinese for Beginners: 101

This course teaches basic yet very practical conversations, along with essential skills to use Pin-Yin (or PinYin, pinyin), a powerful tool for self-teaching. It contains the simplest and the most practical lessons, specifically designed for beginners who have either a little or no experience in learning Chinese before.

Through the lessons with wide topics, students will learn about 200 typical and situational sentence patterns, which can be extended to thousands of different sentences with simple but very useful words or characters often used in daily conversations. This course aims at a fastest way to speak and understand the official Chinese language.

Conversational Chinese: 201 (Intermediate)

If you already have some very basic knowledge with Chinese conversation, and plan to improve it to a higher level, this course is right for you.

By focusing on everyday conversational Chinese, students are expected to speak more complicated sentences and express in Chinese (Mandarin) more accurately after completing the course study. These lessons are designed to enable you to use PinYin (or Pin-Yin) with no difficulties towards your self-teaching in the future. You will learn about 300 typical and daily patterns, which is extendable to thousands of different sentences used in school, travel, work and business.

Conversational Chinese: 301 (Advanced)

This course deals with more complicated situational conversations. It is designed to help learn more words and patterns, in order for students to freely express what you want in daily life, school, travel, work and business.

Upon successfully finishing the course, the students are expected to speak and understand about 400 practical and complicated sentence patterns, which help them accurately express themselves. This course provides the students with strong confidence to communicate with Chinese (Mandarin) speakers anywhere in the world.

All-in-One Chinese for Beginners: 101

This course is designed for beginners. It places the emphasis on all four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and incorporates into our teaching materials with detailed explanations and examples, while speaking and listening skills are intensively trained.

Our unique teaching materials will enable you to use PinYin (or Pin-Yin, pinyin), the most powerful tool for self-learning, while learning the four skills with fun and confidence. You are expected to be able to make, speak and understand thousands of different situational conversations. In the meantime, you are supposed to be able to read and write basic and very useful simplified Chinese characters and sentences.

All-in-One Chinese: 201 (Intermediate)

This intermediate course is suitable for students who have learned about 100 - 200 Chinese characters and wish to improve their language skills to a higher level. While putting oral Chinese (i.e. listening and speaking) in the most important place, reading and writing skills will also be significantly improved.

Our state-of-the-art teaching materials and approach will enable students to grasp the top 600 most frequently used Chinese characters and hundreds of everyday sentence patterns, allowing the students to understand about 80% of the content (on average) in modern Chinese publications.

All-in-One Chinese: 301 (Advanced)

While consolidating the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), this course emphasizes a wide range of applications of the four skills, such as complicated situational conversation, newspaper reading, and letter and note writing.

Through our state-of-the-art teaching materials and styles, students are expected to grasp the top 1,000 most frequently used Chinese characters and hundreds of everyday sentence patterns, and understand about 90% of the content (on average) in general Chinese publications.

Chinese Crash Course for Beginners: 101

In order to meet the needs of some Chinese learners, we are proud to offer the Crash Chinese 101 course for beginners.

This is a conversational course that focuses mainly on developing and practicing skills in daily conversation. It is designed to help beginners speak and understand Mandarin as much as possible. It is suitable for beginners, especially for travellers, businessmen, visitors and exchange students. Two of the most important features of this course are as follows:

  • Diversity of Topics: It deals with a wide range of topics and practical situations in Chinese, in order for students to be able to understand and also make practical and situational conversations in Mandarin.
  • Intensive Training: In class, every student will get a substantial chance to speak and interact with the teacher in Chinese.
